We are looking for someone to join our Data department as a Data Engineer, helping us manage the integration and consolidation processes of our clients' data. In both on-premise and cloud environments, you will be responsible for designing the required information system architecture and managing and maintaining our clients' databases.
We’re looking for a proactive and analytical person who can adapt to a multidisciplinary team and is eager to help us tackle the many challenges our clients face.
What are we looking for?
Education:
* University degree related to data analysis (computer science, business and technology, economics…) or a higher degree in computer science.
Required experience:
* Customer Data Platforms: Experience in defining requirements, implementing, managing, and maintaining CDP solutions, mainly Segment.
* SQL: Demonstrable experience in SQL.
* Development: Demonstrable experience in development with JavaScript and Node.js.
Desired experience:
* System Architectures: Experience in defining information system architectures and handling database management programs.
* Cloud Environments: Experience in defining requirements, implementing, managing, and maintaining cloud environments, primarily based on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Data Warehouse: Experience using Data Warehouses as a data storage and processing solution, mainly Snowflake.
* ETL Tools: Experience working with ETL tools like Pentaho Data Integration or similar.
* System Integration: Valuable experience working with integration tools like Mulesoft or Informatica.
* Salesforce Environment: Valuable experience working in the Salesforce environment (SFDC and SFMC).
Knowledge:
* Cloud environment management knowledge (Azure, GCP). Certifications are a plus.
* Knowledge of Snowflake.
* Knowledge of CDP tools.
* Knowledge of CRM/Marketing Automation tools.
* SQL knowledge (Analytical functions, T-SQL). Certifications are a plus.
* Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript and Python.
* Understanding of normalization and Data Quality.

What would you do in this role? Here’s a list of responsibilities and tasks:
* Within the scope of our work in managing our clients' communication actions: Understand the information management requirements for the assigned activity/project, considering the different required data sources and activation and analysis platforms, to design a data architecture and solution proposal on which to base the communication project.
* Manage different databases for our clients/projects: Maintain and evolve their structure and the data contained within them.
* Data integration: Execute new integration processes and optimize and monitor existing ones, ensuring that all ongoing processes run correctly and identifying those that fail for quick correction. This involves considering multiple possible information sources, such as:
* Consumer-declared data collected through various forms (digital, promotions, or via call centers) that include the relevant data processing consents as per GDPR.
* Data collected from user interactions on our clients' websites, including database sources from various websites/apps, Google Analytics, and events/dimensions (informed by data layers).
* Data collected from user interactions with communications received by our clients, considering the information stored in marketing automation systems like SFMC.
* Data stored in our clients' legacy systems.
* Third-party data sources with agreements with our clients.
* Provide CRM/Marketing Automation specialists with valid and reliable data for use in segmentation and personalization of communication campaigns targeting final consumers.
* Provide analysts with valid and reliable data for proper analysis.
* Create services for data consumption by third-party systems, authenticated by information request.
* Incorporate systems for data cleansing, normalization, consolidation, and deduplication, as well as enrichment processes, including using ML/AI algorithms.
* Incident resolution.
* Participate in meetings with our clients to assess the current architecture of their information systems and propose improvements for future challenges, as well as to address the most immediate needs arising from a possible ongoing campaign with new information management requirements or connection to new data sources or activation systems.
