Your responsibilities
System Administration & Support: Perform system administration tasks, including system installation, problem isolation, troubleshooting, and resolution for all Luxmetering systems.
System Monitoring & Optimization: Conduct daily system checks to ensure the integrity and availability of Hardware and software across all platforms.
Upgrades & Resource Management: Manage Hardware and software life cycle, optimize system resources to improve efficiency and performance (Capacity Management).
Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in service delivery and IT processes to enhance overall system functionality.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate the collaboration and service delivery with external service providers to ensure high-quality and reliable IT support.
Documentation: Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, processes, and procedures.
Infrastructure Projects: Participate in and support infrastructure projects to enhance
IT capabilities and scalability.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Plan, execute, and evaluate disaster recovery exercises to ensure the resilience and continuity of IT services.
Your profile
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in system administration, including Virtualization.
Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of infrastructure services (e.g. DNS, LDAP), server operating systems (RHEL, Windows), monitoring tools, and Virtualization.
Proficient in Storage solutions, Backup & Recovery, and Disaster Recovery strategies.
Understanding of PKI, cryptography, and security best practices.
Familiarity with Change Management and Lifecycle processes.
Experience with Windows client and server management, including Active Directory.
Certifications: Preferred certifications like CISSP, CISM, or similar security credentials.
Knowledge of standards: Experience with ISMS (Information Security Management System) and ISO 27001 is a plus.
Project Management: Basic project management skills are an asset, with the ability to plan and execute projects efficiently.
Language Skills: Fluency in English and French or English and German. Luxembourgish is a plus.
