Accounting Manager | English French | 3+ years' experience | International companyFor one of our clients, Hays is looking for an Accounting Manager in Brussels :
What you'll be doing:
1. Managing the Accounts Payable & General Accounting processes
2. Leading and coaching the AP/GL Accounting team (4 FTE)
3. Managing day-to-day accounting operations
4. Assisting in coordinating external audits and providing necessary documentation and explanations
5. Ensuring timely and accurate submission of VAT declarations
6. Preparing financial statements
7. Assisting in the preparation of ISOC, BNB, and other declarations
8. Improving systems and procedures
9. Managing various administrative tasks and projects related to the accounting department
What we're looking for:
10. Bachelor's degree in accountancy or a related field
11. 3 to 4 years ’ experience as Senior Accountant
12. Experience with people management is not required
13. Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
14. Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
16. Fluency in English and French
