IntroductieOur client is globally active in the chemistry industry.In the light of their strategic growth in Europe, they are on the lookout to strenghten their management team with a B2B Sales Director.FunctieYou lead the Sales departments in the regions DACH, France & BENELUX.You are responsible for shaping and translating the sales strategy for the aforementioned markets into concrete action plans tailored to the chemical packaging industry.You ensure the direct management and motivation of the Sales and Marketing team, consisting of 40 employees.You visit & negotiate with clients & stakeholders, therefore you will travel +/- one week/month.Functie-eisenProven Leadership Experience:A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, ideally in the chemical, industrial, or packaging sectors. Experience managing teams of 5+ people and overseeing departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations is essential.Strategic Expertise:Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth in excess of >100 EUR million annually. Strong analytical skills and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in complex B2B environments.Industry Knowledge:In-depth understanding of the chemical industry, including safety standards, regulatory requirements, and packaging solutions. Familiarity with sustainability trends and innovative packaging technologies is a plus.Relationship Builder:Extensive experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders, such as distributors, manufacturers, and key decision-makers. Ability to navigate complex negotiations and align with customer needs.Technical and Commercial Skills:Strong technical understanding of packaging solutions, combined with commercial acumen. Ability to provide technical support during negotiations and present complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.Team Leadership and Coaching:Exceptional people management skills with a proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
