Business Process Analyst (Back Office Migration) – Freelance
For a large back-office migration project, I am searching for a freelance Business Process Analyst to assist with a critical transition from an existing closed system to a new, open system with API integration capabilities.
Their current provider will be decommissioning its application by the end of 2026, and this migration will ensure the business can continue operating efficiently with better system functionality.
This is a high-stakes project requiring a heavyweight analyst with deep experience in process management and fluency in Dutch.
Responsibilities
* Analyse and document current business processes and workflows to support the migration from the existing closed system to a new open platform with APIs and improved capabilities.
* Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements for the new system.
* Map out the "current state" and "future state" of business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and desired outcomes.
* Assist in developing the migration strategy to ensure the transition while minimizing disruption to business operations.
* Collaborate with technical teams to integrate the new system’s APIs into the existing technology stack and support data migration efforts.
* Facilitate communication between business users, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
Profile
* At least 5+ years as a Business Process Analyst with experience in large-scale migration projects or similar initiatives.
* Strong expertise in business process mapping, requirement gathering, and system integration.
* Fluency in Dutch (written and spoken) is a must.
