As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the steering wheel of the operations and will be responsible for managing day to day logistics business. You will be managing, leading, and coordinating activities of Team Leaders and front line warehouse staff (Temp and FTE) in processing shipments, inventory, purchase orders, sales orders, and all needs of the business. You will be responsible for important and immediate shop floor decisions required for the operations and issues at the site with immediate solutions. You will be motivating, training, developing, and directing team efforts, keeping the Operations Manager in the loop. Always assure that the warehouse maintains a safe and secured work environment. The main Responsibilities Workforce planning, training, and division of shop floor tasks & employee coordination, capacity management, yard, and warehouse flow management in close coordination with the Operations Manager. Directing the complete shift (FTE and Temp employees), monitoring of storage and distribution of goods regarding customer and legal requirements, inbound & outbound movements/activities, and inventory management in accordance with the customer KPIs. Responsible for process implementation, SOP/WI creation, and development of subordinate logistics team. Creation and compliance with quality standards as well as monitoring of KPIs. Proactive identification, optimization (CI), and further development of existing warehouse processes to drive productivity, safety, and/or health increases. Execution and maintenance of employee evaluations, material management, and leading various workgroups like 5S, Safety, lean, and kaizen with positive change culture. Support the implementation of new customer and changes for existing customer (CI). Who we are looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in a leading role, knowledge of logistics and warehousing, and potentially managed a team under his/her responsibility, especially temporary workforce. Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work with others and through people and the organization. Sense of urgency, independent drive to get things done, team player, and coach. Pro active, professional, and hands on mentality. Flexible to work in shifts (including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays if required). Ability to cope in a constantly changing environment.
