As our GROUP CONTROLLING MANAGER, youwill operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, translatingfinancial insights into actionable business decisions. Reporting directly tothe CFO, you’ll not only oversee financial performance but also shape thefuture of Oleon by aligning financial goals with broader business strategies.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
1. You will be responsible for expanding, structuring, and coaching an international controlling organization, currently comprising 20 FTEs. You will attract, onboard, and coach team members while fostering their growth through performance appraisals, competency development, and talent management.
2. You will be responsible for group reporting, delivering financial reviews, and presenting clear insights to the Executive Committee and the Shareholder. By analyzing variances, managing risks, and identifying opportunities, you drive impactful decision-making.
3. Collaborating closely with the CFO, you will shape and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and long-term vision. You will take ownership of key financials ensuring they are executed effectively and in line with organizational goals.
4. From evaluating potential mergers to assessing new investments, you’ll provide expert guidance on high-stakes projects. Your financial due diligence and sharp insights will ensure every decision is grounded in sound strategy.
5. You will work closely within Oleon’s global finance management team, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration across regions and departments to drive financial excellence.
6. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide expert guidance and actionable recommendations on key initiatives. You will challenge and support senior leadership and internal stakeholders on their ideas and decisions, ensuring financial strategies are aligned with operational priorities while fostering a culture of accountability and informed decision-making.
You'll succeed if:
7. You hold a master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field;
8. You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in finance. Experience in an international manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment is essential;
9. You have a proven track record as a people manager, with experience in leading, motivating, and developing diverse teams;
10. You thrive in teamwork, foster collaboration, and communicate clearly to align stakeholders. You make decisive choices and inspire others with a strong vision;
11. You demonstrate expertise in shaping and executing financial strategies including financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across multiple business units or global operations;
12. You have a proven ability to provide strategic financial insights to senior management and drive change management, including transitions, business integration, and process optimization;
13. With your proactive approach and adept communication abilities, you convey complex financial concepts to high-level stakeholders;
14. You are familiar with SAP, financial KPI’s, and finance project leadership;
15. Fluent proficiency in English is essential, while proficiency in French or Dutch is a plus.
