Your mission:
* Primary objective: Deliver ServiceNow integration solutions by configuring and developing robust integrations between ServiceNow and external systems in collaboration with functional consultants, platform architects, and other team members.
* Secondary objective: Configuration or development of non-integration related ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, SAM, CMDB, … )
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for ServiceNow integrations, providing thought leadership, guidance, and best practices to stakeholders and internal teams.
* Must: Design and implement ServiceNow integrations using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP, and other supported technologies.
* Must: Ensure seamless data exchange and process automation between ServiceNow and third-party platforms (e.g., ERP systems, IT monitoring tools, HR systems, etc.).
* Could: Develop and implement MID server configurations to support integration requirements.
* Could: Leverage IntegrationHub spokes to standardize integrations and optimize efficiency.
* Troubleshoot integration-related issues and provide timely support to resolve production incidents.
* Conduct end-to-end systems integration testing to validate integration functionality.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions, including design, configuration, and user guides.
* Update Automated Test Frameworks (ATFs) to ensure ongoing validation of integration workflows.
* Provide the means to proactively be able to monitor the integrations, such as reports, alerts, dashboards
* Stay informed on the latest ServiceNow features, integration capabilities, and security compliance standards (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Your profile:
Business Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, specifically focused on integration use cases and best practices.
* Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL principles (ITIL certification is a plus).
* Experience collaborating in Agile teams (sprints, user stories).
* Ability to articulate integration strategies and solutions to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
* Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations and development.
* Certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator Certification + ServiceNow IntegrationHub Specialist and/or Developer certifications.
* Expertise in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations using IntegrationHub, REST, SOAP, and custom APIs.
* Proficiency in ServiceNow technical components, such as business rules, script includes, transform maps, and custom workflows.
* Strong knowledge of programming languages and frameworks: JavaScript (client and server-side), JSON, XML, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
* Hands-on experience with Authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, etc.) and MID server setup.
* Experience with ETL tools and data transformation techniques is a plus.
* Familiarity with setting up and maintaining ATFs to validate integration flows.
* Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and awareness of the platform’s latest features.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues efficiently.
Soft Skills:
* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills in English are a must; Dutch and/or French is nice-to-have
Preferred Experience:
* Prior experience integrating ServiceNow with major platforms such as SAP, Workday, Jira, Microsoft Azure.
* Experience working with ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM, such as ITOM, HRSD, SPM or Custom Application, to support integrations.
* Experience conducting training sessions or workshops as a ServiceNow SME.
* Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements for integrations such as NIS2, GDPR and ISO27001
