Are you passionate about improving operational efficiency and supporting personnel in their day-to-day tasks? We are seeking a talented Functional Analyst to join our team in the public sector and contribute to the development of web interfaces.
Your role in our team
As a Functional Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development team responsible for delivering business demands
•Translating Business Needs:
•Gather business requirements from operational staff and translate them into UI design, functional, and technical analyses for front and back-end developers.
•Backlog Definition:
•Assist in defining the backlog for the development team based on gathered business requirements.
•Functional Improvements:
•Suggest functional improvements to existing applications to better meet the needs of end-users.
•Issue Analysis and Resolution:
•Analyze bugs and data quality issues in the applications and propose solutions for improvement.
•Documentation and Reporting:
•Document process and information streams, as well as applications, and provide reports and dashboards.
•Test Scenario Development:
•Develop test scenarios and actively participate in testing of deliverables to ensure quality and functionality.
•Collaboration and Communication:
•Liaise with the business stakeholders, functional analysts, developers, and solution architects to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
•Agile Participation:
•Actively participate in an Agile delivery team, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
How you strengthen our team
•At least 5 years of experience in ICT
•Excellent analytical skills
•Excellent cooperation skills
•Experience as member of an agile development/delivery team & Scrum ceremonies
•Deep knowledge as end-user of MS Office, JIRA, Confluence…
•Result oriented & teamplayer mindset
•Resistant to stress
•Experience with Xamarin & .net is a Plus
•Experience in design or implementations of IT applications is a Plus
•Experience in the railway sector is a Plus
•You are Fluent in English, fluent in either French or Dutch, excellent communication skills.
•Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
•Part time on site in Brussels is required
