Missions :
Quality and Environment
* Continuous improvement of the management system (IATF 16949, ISO 45001) and the overall quality level (product and process)
* Further development of the management system to reach certification according to ISO 14001 (Environment)
* Manage and organize the quality department, together with the QESH Manager
* Follow up quality KPI's and take corrective and preventive actions to reach KPI's
* Management of material in quarantine and of technical claims
* Improve and manage waste (5to2)
* Establish measurable objectives and to monitor progress through regular audits and reporting
Health and Safety
* Identify, evaluate and eliminate Health and Safety risks to ensure that hazards are managed
* Help to prevent all injuries and work-related illnesses
* Help the QHSE manager to establish a culture where work will be stopped if it is unsafe
Profile :
* Lead/manage a small team of Quality technicians
* Language skills: Dutch and English, basic knowledge (comprehension) of French and German is an advantage
* Knowledge of MS Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
* Knowledge of management systems: ISO900, IATF16949, ISO45001, ISO14001
* Internal auditor competences
* Knowledge of steel products is an advantage (alternatively: in house training on the job is possible)
