Job Description: Oracle Developer
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Development Expert who possesses a deep understanding of database systems, not only to perform installations but also to analyze, diagnose, and implement solutions to optimize database performance.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Oracle development, database administration, and modern tools to enhance system efficiency and security.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and diagnose performance issues within Oracle databases.
* Develop and implement solutions to enhance database performance and reliability.
* Develop SQL and PL/SQL scripts for various database functionalities.
* Manage database security using Oracle features such as Database Vault and data encryption.
* Perform database administration and ensure secure, efficient operations.
* Collaborate on CI/CD environments using tools like Git, Jenkins, and CloudBees.
* Utilize AWR (Automatic Workload Repository) for performance analysis and optimization.
* Work with Docker and OpenShift for containerized environments.
* Develop and maintain tools and scripts using Python and Java.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience in Oracle development and administration.
* Expertise in SQL programming and PL/SQL scripting.
* In-depth knowledge of Oracle security features, including Database Vault and encryption.
* Familiarity with Oracle Partitioning and performance optimization tools like AWR.
* Experience with Java and Python for database-related tasks.
* Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (OpenShift).
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Git, Jenkins/CloudBees).
* Oracle certifications are highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in implementing modern database security measures.
* Familiarity with cloud-based database environments.
