Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate domestic and international shipments of chemical products, ensuring timely delivery.
* Communicate with suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers to manage orders and shipments.
* Prepare and manage shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, etc.).
* Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the production and sales teams to optimize stock availability.
* Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, especially those related to hazardous materials.
* Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
* Negotiate rates with freight forwarders and carriers to control costs.
The Successful Applicant
What You Bring to the Team:
* Proven experience in logistics.
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
* Bilingual proficiency in French and English - you'll communicate with international partners daily.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
