A company in Mechelen is looking for a part-time Accounting Assistant to support their finance team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process accounts payable and receivable
* Assist with invoicing, e-invoicing, payments, and cost tracking
* Enter data, maintain records, and create reports
* Support payroll administration in collaboration with the social secretary
* Monitor and record company expenditures
* Liaise with suppliers and place orders as needed
* Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document editing
* Ensure proper maintenance of office equipment
* Manage car fleet administration
* Provide backup support for the Accounting Manager and Office Manager
Your Profile:
* Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting
* Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and accounting software (Adsolut or similar)
* Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Detail-oriented and proactive mindset
* Ability to multitask and handle concurrent assignments
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Team player with a problem-solving attitude
