Function
* Define utilities concepts for projects: Develop utilities concepts for greenfield or bakery plant expansion projects, including calculating and sizing equipment for systems such as cooling, heating, compressed air, steam, electricity, HVAC, and water treatment.
* Focus on sustainability and energy efficiency: Create sustainable solutions with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and water management, continuously exploring new technologies available in the market.
* Develop guidelines and standards: Create engineering guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
* Prepare tender documents: Prepare and revise tender documents for greenfield and brownfield projects of all sizes, and evaluate tenders accordingly.
* Manage procurement and supplier selection: Establish the procurement approach and identify the best partners and suppliers to design, execute, and maintain utilities systems.
* Oversee installation and commissioning: Review and approve supplier utilities designs, supervise the installation and commissioning on-site, and ensure a smooth handover to plant and operational teams.
You will report to the Technics Project Manager
As Senior Project Utilities Engineer we expect you to contribute to small and large CAPEX projects helping deliver efficient and suitable solutions and project services through teamwork.
Your Profile
* You have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and have worked preferably more than 5-10 years in the food and beverage or an engineering company,
* You have analytical skill and have experience with projects as well some operational experience in manufacturing industry
* Team player with good communication skills, involved in several projects’ teams, supporting different project managers
* You have an important execution power
* You are resistant to stress, perseverant and result oriented
* You possess good written and oral English skills, preferably combined with one other major language
* You are familiar with the Microsoft package, as a minimum Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS project as well design tools such Revit or Plant 3D
* Travel 50%
* Based in Europe (Mainly Belgium, Poland, Tchequie, Romania and Turkey)
