Job Description:
We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to ensure the smooth operation of technical installations at our Drogenbos, Belgium site.
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and electromechanical adjustments based on work orders, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Minimize production capacity loss by quickly addressing faults, ensuring sustainable and safe repairs, and continuously improving production facility availability.
* Follow safety regulations during machine shutdowns, repairs, and restarts, including handling rotating machine parts, accessing low- and high-voltage cabins, and complying with work permit procedures.
* Ensure proper operation of utilities in the absence of the utility operator.
* Perform electromechanical maintenance, repairs, and (de)assembly work across the entire site.
* Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid early breakdowns or breakages, impacting costs and safety.
* Take care of entrusted tools, materials, and other resources.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Knowledge and understanding of machine equipment, installations, automatic controls, high and low voltage cabins.
* Understanding of equipment, tools, mounting techniques and regulation techniques.
* Recognize and understand product identifications, hazard symbols, hazard risks and safety regulations.
* Knowledge of quality, safety and environmental (SHEQ) regulations.
* Able to operate forklifts and aerial work platforms, including knowledge of driving techniques, loading capacity, safety regulations, and inspection procedures.
* Technical education background.
* Fluent in Dutch or French language.
