Job Description
Purpose of the role:
To execute, guide, and follow up on research assignments resulting from the contract with the client (CIM).
Tasks and responsibilities per result area:
1. Execution of research projects
* Ensures that the execution and result of the research project are in accordance with the contract with the client
* Coordinate and follow up on project teams
* Responsible for the budget of own research assignments within own segments
* Analysis and interpretation of research results
* Reporting and presenting research results
* Providing (policy) recommendations
* Monitoring and, if necessary, adjusting the execution of the research project, while maintaining in close contact with the client
* Analyzing the performance of executed projects
2. Innovation
* Managing innovative (sub)projects and thus developing new and improved methods/services/products in the field of research
3. Commercial
* Maintaining and expanding customer relationships
* Acquiring assignments and identifying new commercial opportunities from the customer network
* Submitting research proposals
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge of 3 to 5 years in a position as an independent researcher in media research and/or social science research
* Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and techniques, appropriate to the segment
* Experience in setting up, following up, and coordinating complex projects
* University or equivalent education
* Language skills: FR or NL with a good knowledge of the other national language FR/NL + fluent ENG
* Experience with statistical software and BI applications is a plus
