As a Senior Functional Analyst - Ecommerce at TVH, your primary role involves integrating the company's Ecommerce application with different other components in the TVH ecosystem. This role is crucial in collecting, understanding, and specifying technical processes and corporate needs and translating them into functional requirements. You'll report and work closely with the ECOM Product Owner, designing future-proof functional solutions, ensuring they align with business lines, product strategy and current integrations.
Your role and responsibilities
1. Elicit and document various types of functional requirements to ensure clear and concise functional specifications.
2. Collect requirements, understand logistical processes, and specify the technical processes based on these requirements and processes.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand corporate needs and translate them into functional requirements.
4. Drive the squad in its understanding of all user stories you created in order to make sure that the squad can make an accurate and realistic estimate of the story.
5. Design future-proof functional solutions that take into account the global context of different business lines in order to have a solid basis for future implementations.
6. Update and maintain professional knowledge and demonstrate up-to-date expertise on the company processes within the assigned functional domain in order to do profound research and recommend solutions and improvements for the benefit of the organization.
7. Assist the product owner and product manager in the functional area by providing follow-up and guidance of development and implementation of new or modified features.
8. Ability to communicate technical information to individuals with non-technical backgrounds/experience.
How to succeed / your profile
9. Minimum 4 years of experience in functional analysis and translating corporate needs into functional specifications.
10. • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
11. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commercial Sciences, IT, or equivalent experience.
12. Earlier experience with logistical processes is a plus, but not a must.
13. Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
14. Strong team player with good communication skills; committed to transparency and collaboration.
15. Attention to detail with proficient organization and time management skills.
16. Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.
17. Ability to collaborate in an effective, positive manner with employees at all levels across the organization.
18. Engage in occasional travel for project collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
