You will be part of Cefic’s Public Affairs team, supporting our Programme Councils and their priorities. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who can work autonomously and strategically, advising on political feasibility, designing advocacy strategies, and implementing them effectively.

1. Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement communication strategies tailored to the objectives of the Sector Groups, aligning with Cefic’s broader communication and advocacy goals.
2. Content Development: Create high-quality communication materials, including press releases, position papers, newsletters, website content, social media posts, and presentations.
3. Digital Communications: Oversee the development of digital assets, including website updates, newsletters, infographics, and multimedia content, to support Sector Group initiatives.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional who demonstrates the following experience, skills and competencies:
4. Minimum of 5 years in communications, public affairs, media relations, or a related field, preferably in an association, consultancy, or regulated industry.
5. A strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute targeted communication plans that support policy and business objectives.
6. Excellent writing skills: Strong ability to translate complex technical or regulatory topics into clear, engaging, and impactful messages for different audiences.
7. Design and multimedia: creation of social media cards, infographics, brochures and videos
8. Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
9. Digital & Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms, and digital communication tools.
10. Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a definite asset
