We are looking for a proactive Sales Manager to work with the Sales Director in sales efforts to secure sponsorship for the European Open.
About the role…
-Ability to perform client prospecting:
* Identification and generation of new business opportunities from business leads
* Benchmarking of potential clients for our industry
* Proactive market and industry observation (sponsoring)
-Strong selling and interpersonal skills
* Sales work in the region as well as nationally in coordination with the sales director
* Participation in networking events, sporting events and internal events
* Strong commercial skills
* Negotiation skills
-Slidewriting and presentation skills (design to be supported by another Tennium department)
* Creation and development of sales documents
-Experience in discussing contracts and commercial clauses, with selected legal support
* Preparation of individual offers and partner contracts
-Strong relationship management (both for existing clients and potential clients)
-Sales planning and admin skills
* Commercial planning prior to sales execution
* Organizational skills, in order to keep track of sales leads and actionable follow-ups
* Reporting: Deliver management and sales reports in a timely manner
Who we are looking for…
* 5+ years of sales experience (mainly sponsorships sales, hospitality/corporate sales is a plus)
* Client Acquisition: You know how to express yourself, you're eager to learn, you can engage clients and you're not afraid to connect on the phone
* Excellent communications skills
* Fluent in verbal and written English and French
* Flexibility and Availability to travel
* Sports enthusiast, tennis especially
