We are looking for Delivery Operations Manager who will be responsible for our installation and modernization business in Wallonia and Luxembourg. You will do this by working in close collaboration with our technicians, team leaders, customers and key stakeholders. You will lead the site delivery teams to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality, and profitable execution of the delivery projects, leading to customer satisfaction and fulfilment of KONE business objectives. You will actively manage portfolio performance in terms of progress against schedule, planning accuracy, productivity, safety, and quality performance.
The highlights of this position:
1. Managing an internal team of 10 direct reports, subcontractor and stakeholder network for the on-time and on-budget successful completion of projects
2. Coach and develop your team members and work closely together with your peers to make KONE a great place to work.
3. Ensuring appropriate use of KONE installation methods and KONE Way operations management practices and confirming competence and optimized allocation of the resources. Drawing up yearly budget, developing strategy, allocating resources and evaluating the performance of the department.
In this role, you are reporting to the Regional Director and are a member of the management team of KONE Belgium & Luxembourg.
Responsibilities
4. Drive efficient, safe, and high-quality installation operations ensuring appropriate use of KONE installation methods and KONE Way operations management practices.
5. Promote a service-minded culture and outside-in thinking in our Delivery Operations.
6. Contribute to the strategic planning of the department at the executive level. The aim is to develop and implement a strategy that is in line with our organization's overall vision and long-term objectives in sustainability.
7. Lead and develop your team members in line with the values of KONE (Care - Customer - Collaboration - Courage)
8. Drive profitable, reliable and efficient project management practices in line with KONE methods
9. Ensure quality of resourcing and manage Installation capacity and competences
10. Proactive identification and execution of value-added services and change order opportunities
11. Develop and implement the strategy for the delivery operations business to achieve budgeted targets
12. Manage customer relationships, disputes and escalations, track NPI and transactional survey
13. Work actively to understand customer priorities and changes in their competitive landscape
14. Drive change initiatives ensuring business benefit realization and promoting customer centricity with outside-in thinking
15. Monitor financial performance, report results and identify areas of improvement
16. Build a culture that embraces quality, safety, and excellence in project delivery
17. Organize and operate regular portfolio and operational reviews to manage project and installation performance
18. Manage the Delivery Operations team, ensuring competence and optimized deployment of the resources
Requirements
19. Bachelor’s degree in a related field
20. Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading people and carrying profit and loss responsibility
21. Experience in construction industry
22. Experience in working in a multinational company is an asset
23. Proficiency in French and English language is a must
