To help us grow and achieve our ambitions, our team in Brussels is looking for a Senior Associate Forensic Technology, to work alongside leading professionals in fields such as Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, Legal Technology and Data Analytics.
Our Forensic Technology Solutions team helps clients manage vast amounts of electronic data and navigate the legal and business processes that are mandated by critical events. We develop and utilize cutting-edge technology to help our clients in times of crisis or to understand past challenges and proactively prevent future ones. When disputes or regulatory investigations arise, a timely resolution relies on organizations being prepared.
A career within our Forensic Services will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients prevent, respond to and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues. As part of the team, you’ll support our clients who wish to investigate potential financial crime, respond to regulatory enquiries, support our core forensic experts in executing investigations, provide dispute analysis, litigation support, etc. You’ll also help clients with collection, processing and review of data to identify key information.
What you’ll learn and do:
* Receive training in a wide range of technical and non-technical skills.
* Gain exposure to a wide variety of forensic and analytical techniques.
* Support and execute fraud investigations, litigations, Data Breach investigations and other engagements with a forensic nature.
* Forensically obtain data from computers, servers and mobile devices, ensuring the evidential integrity of the data.
* Oversee document review projects, including the application of AI and Active Learning concepts.
* Provide consultation to clients concerning ESI for preservation, collections, processing, analysis, review and production.
* Train and advise legal teams on the application and efficient use of technology.
* Draft reports and presentations to explain findings.
* Facilitate meetings with clients and stakeholders.
* Assist with the preparation and presentation of proposals that describe our approach, deliverables and fees to projects.
* Train and supervise staff and coach colleagues.
* Research new products, tools and techniques to assist with streamlining internal processes.
What you have done:
You have obtained a degree in a technology-related program, IT, civil or business engineering and worked as eDiscovery and/or Digital Forensic analyst in a similar consulting environment for 1-2 years.
Who you are:
* Specialization in Information Technology, eDiscovery, digital forensics, legal technology and/or data analytics.
* Good understanding of key concepts of electronic discovery and the EDRM model.
* Experience with computer forensic and eDiscovery tools.
* 1-2 years or more of professional experience.
* Team player with a sense of innovation and a critical, analytical mind.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent investigations.
* Fluency in English; ideally also in Dutch and/or French.
