What you will be doing
The jobholder will be part of the Information Systems (IS) team, reporting to the Head of Business Applications, and will interact with the business teams of Umicore (globally), and within the larger IS department (at global and local level).
Responsibilities
Responsibilities are two-fold:
1. SAP Master data consultant
2. Lead and support the implementation of SAP Master Data Solution, including data governance processes, data quality and data consolidation
3. Deep understanding of how master data contributes to the business, steers the business processes and the underlying SAP solution and data integration
4. Define and implement all SAP data elements contributing to the Master Data overall setup and steering
5. Define and implement data governance policies and procedures
6. Collaboration with other SAP domain leads/architects and integration across domains
7. Investigate and resolve issues related to master data and provide support
8. Responsible for delivery of the project tasks – SAP config, documentation, testing, training, UAT, migration, go-live
9. Co-ordination with program and project leads to ensure successful project delivery
10. SAP MDG platform owner
11. Set up and ensure successful implementation of the SAP MDG roadmap
12. Organize change requests and implementation tracks for SAP MDG
13. Set up change & release management process for MDG platform
Profile
14. You hold a master in information technology, applied computer sciences, applied economics or a related field
15. You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant SAP master data
16. Experience with Master Data Governance tools is a plus
17. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
18. You have a mature, assertive and dynamic personality, with excellent interpersonal skills
19. You are well organized and work with respect to details
20. You have excellent communication skills
21. You are fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
22. Willingness to travel: up to 10%
