Your journey with us As (Senior) Manager in our M&A Transaction Services group you support clients with financial advice during M&A or transformation projects, including financial due diligence assignments, carve-out preparation, business plan reviews, valuations & business modeling, SPA advice, M&A strategy as well as financial support in other corporate finance matters. Your primary focus will be to provide M&A support to our clients in the Consumer, working closely with a team of experienced M&A professionals with exposure to a wide range of clients. In addition, you have an important role to play in our Consumer sector approach and business development opportunities.
1. You are in charge of projects to advise and support clients in complex M&A transactions with services ranging from financial due diligence, sell side vendor assistance & due diligence, business plan reviews, carve-out support, SPA advice and negotiations, synergy identification, and other M&A support services.
2. You are the first contact towards the client, manage your team of M&A professionals and coordinate the work streams of other Deloitte expert teams.
3. Your specific area of focus will be the Consumer Industry .
4. You will be active on large cross border deals as well as mid-market transactions .
5. You play an important role in our business development opportunities.
6. You work closely together with a team of experienced M&A professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of clients both corporate as well as private equity.
Let's talk about you
7. You have 5 years of experience in the Consumer sector as an auditor, a financial analyst or a specialist in M&A and/or financial due diligence.
8. Based on your Consumer experience, you have strong knowledge about the business drivers, KPIs, risks and opportunities specific to the Consumer sector.
9. You are passionate about M&A and Consumer and eager to make an impact that matters for our clients on the deals that shape our market.
10. In this role as a Manager keywords are autonomy, ownership and entrepreneurship.
11. You have a Master’s degree in finance or economics. Being enrolled in or having completed the CFA program is an asset.
12. You are fluent in Dutch, French and English and have solid writing and presentation skills.
13. You have e xcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business .
14. You have the ability to communicate clearly, persuade and influence .
15. You have a proactive approach and flexible attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative and reliability .
16. You have the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
17. You have excellent coaching skills and experience in managing people .
18. You have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills .
