About the Job
This is a permanent or freelance opportunity for a Part-time HR Manager. The role requires fluency in French, Dutch, and English, with experience in shaping HR strategies, leading projects, and implementing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate employee life cycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Prepare legal documents and work contracts for new employees.
* Manage HR administration, including holidays and contracts.
* Draft and prepare employment contracts in compliance with regulations.
* Oversee monthly payroll and exceptional activities.
* Manage compensation packages for employees.
* Process payroll and expenses.
* Collect timesheets from freelancers and external consultants.
* Manage relationships with insurance and benefits suppliers.
* Oversee fleet management.
* Optimize HR processes and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Soft Skills:
* Onboard new employees and interns.
* Manage onboarding and offboarding activities.
* Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to improve retention.
* Communicate people updates, HR news, and events to employees.
* Act as the SPOC for all HR-related queries.
* Souce, interview, and build talent pools for engineering projects.
* Shape and implement learning and development plans.
* Participate in staff events and organize trainings.
* Lead HR projects to optimize processes, tools, and systems.
* Report HR issues and future actions at management meetings.
Besides daily HR strategy and management, you will lead punctual HR projects such as:
* Improving or updating the HR handbook, company rules, car policy, working policies, annual evaluations, learning and development policy, training needs, salary grid, Comp&Ben optimisation, a work life balance policy, timesheets, etc.
* Improving employer branding, vacancies' visibility, employee retention.
* Developing, improving, and implementing a standard recruitment process and referral system.
* Advising on LinkedIn Company page management, job boards forecast and budget, onboarding project, Juniors' recruitment, partnerships with Universities and Schools, among others.
* Developing diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.
* Selecting and Implementing an ATS and other HR 'Tech tool' if needed.

Practical Details:
* Contract: Part-time permanent contract (employee 3/5) or Freelance.
* Employee: A competitive salary (3/5th) round 40-60 K€/year depending on your seniority.

* Schedule: 3 days/week or 24 hrs/week depending on your availability.
* Flexible location: Homeworking + on site in nice offices in Ghent min. 1 day/week ideally on Friday's and meetings in Walloon Brabant min. 1 day every 2 weeks.

* Contractors/Freelancers are welcome for a long-term collaboration only and for a max. yearly budget of 100 K€/year.
