At Fluxys Belgium, the Federal EU Regulatory Department monitors Belgian and European regulations, develops and updates regulated documents that ensure regulated third party access to the Fluxys Belgium infrastructure and defines regulated tariffs for the use of Fluxys Belgium''s infrastructure (transmission, storage and terminalling), in accordance with the methodology established by the regulator. The Federal EU Regulatory Department at our office in Brussels is looking for a Regulatory Advisor (m/f/x). Your role You will take part in Fluxys''s growth by ensuring that the new services developed by Fluxys comply with the Belgian and European regulatory framework. You will play an active role in positioning Fluxys in the new energy mix required by the energy and climate transition. As a Regulatory Advisor, your role will be to support regulated gas activities and to set up and develop Fluxys'' regulatory positioning geared towards customer needs. You will defend and promote Fluxys''s positions in its dealings with the relevant authorities at national and European level, drafting, explaining and obtaining the approval of tariff and regulatory documents for services such as transmission, storage and terminalling for natural gas, biomethane and low carbon gases. Your responsibilities Managing tariff and regulatory documents (drafting and coordination) You will design and draft regulatory documents (transmission programme, access code, terms of service, etc.). You will coordinate and monitor the preparation of these documents (in collaboration with the relevant departments). You will defend regulatory documents and secure their approval by the relevant regulator(s). You will also help to prepare tariff documents. Monitoring tariffs You will monitor and analyse trends in the components comprising authorised income and verify their compliance with the tariff documents. Monitoring regulations You will monitor regulations in order to identify any regulatory changes that could have an impact on Fluxys. Managing stakeholders You will represent Fluxys in its dealings with regulators and stakeholders, supporting our analyses and positions with confidence and expertise. About you You hold a master''s degree, preferably in economics, finance, econometrics or civil engineering.
