The O pportunity
The Acquiring Processing Product Marketing Manager (PMM) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between product and the market. He/She understands the market conditions and expectations, crafts compelling product messaging and ensuring that products are successfully launched and adopted. They ensure that payment products meet customer needs and achieve commercial success.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1.Market Research and Analysis a.Customer Insights: Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points related to payment solutions. petitive Analysis: Analyze competitors’ payment products, features, and market positioning to identify opportunities and threats. c.Market Trends: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the payments industry. 2.Product Positioning and Messaging a.Develop a compelling product storyline that support the value proposition and differentiates from competitors. b.Create consistent and persuasive messaging across all marketing channels, ensuring it resonates with target audiences, including acquirers, PSP, merchants, consumers and partners. c.Ensure product messaging aligns with the company’s overall brand strategy and values. 3.Go-to-Market Strategy a.Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new payment products or feature launches, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. b.Equip the sales team with necessary tools, training, and collaterals to effectively sell the payment products. c.Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, events, webinars, and PR activities to promote the payment solutions. 4.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams a.Work closely with product managers and other product stakeholders to provide market insights and influence the development of products and features. b.Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support in achieving revenue goals and customer satisfaction. c.Coordinate with various marketing functions (digital, content, PR, etc.) to implement marketing strategies and tactics. 5.Product ° Performance Monitoring a.OKRs and Metrics/KPIs: Define the key results to achieve by the product and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effects and success of business decisions. b.° Data Analysis: Analyze product data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern. c.Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous product enhancements. 6.Customer Education and Engagement a.Educational Content: Develop educational content, such as whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and tutorials, to educate customers about the payment products. munity Building: Foster a community of engaged users through forums, social media, and events. c.Customer Support: Work with customer support teams to ensure they have the information and tools needed to assist customers effectively.
