Role Description
The Quality & Process Engineer will play a dual role in ensuring the excellence of our products and optimizing our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Production and Quality Manager, this position is critical in driving continuous improvement and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Improving our Quality and Production processes.
* Updating and improving the operator instructions in our instruction portal Azumuta.
* Updating and improving the BOM structure of our products in our ERP system Ridder IQ.
* Collaborating in setting up continuous improvement initiatives to continuously improve our production processes.
* Performing quality checks in production and on incoming goods, writing of quality check instructions and training of production and logistics operators.
* Taking an active role in the production team at Addax Motors.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and resolve quality issues within production and the supply chain.
* Develop and manage quality plans, test procedures, and related documentation.
* Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to implement structural improvements.
* Analyze customer feedback and execute corrective actions.
* Analyze and optimize production processes for existing and new products.
* Act as a liaison between the engineering team and the production team.
* Implement solutions to reduce waste, rework, and defects.
* Plan and oversee the implementation of new equipment.
* Coordinate and facilitate the introduction of new products into production processes.
* Create and maintain work instructions and process timelines for process changes.
Skills and abilities
* Good communication skills, willingness to learn and to adapt to a rapidly evolving and challenging but rewarding environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC) and process improvement methodologies.
* Familiarity with production systems and supply chain dynamics.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Your Background
* Experience: Preferably 2 to 5 years of experience in quality or process engineering, in the automotive or electric vehicle business is a plus.
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or business or equivalent by experience.
* Knowledge: Quality management systems, production management systems and related topics.
* Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; knowledge of French, or other European languages is a plus.
