* Deploy, configure, and optimize Kafka clusters for high availability and performance.
* Automate infrastructure management with Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools.
* Implement monitoring solutions (, Dynatrace) and troubleshoot performance issues.
* Ensure secure and compliant Kafka environments (SSL/TLS, RBAC, Kerberos).
* Integrate Kafka with CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
* Plan for scalability and optimize resource utilization.
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless data streaming workflows.
* Provide technical support, maintain documentation, and contribute to best practices.
Your Profile:
* 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Kafka administration .
* Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (setup, tuning, troubleshooting).
* Expertise in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes deployments.
* Knowledge of Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Zookeeper .
* Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk).
* Solid understanding of networking, security, and access control for Kafka clusters.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Fluent in English ; additional European languages are a plus.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Confluent Kafka or managed Kafka solutions.
* Knowledge of event-driven architectures and stream processing (Flink, Spark, Kafka Streams).
* Certifications in Kafka, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms .
Additional Requirements:
* EU citizenship required or equivalent legal status required to comply with EU security clearance regulations for this role.
* Ability to work in shifts (7 AM – 8 PM) and provide 24/7 support when needed.
