R&D FAB Senior Process Integration Engineer
What you will do
We are looking for an experienced R&D Senior Process Integration Engineer with proven expertise in semiconductor process and module step development combined with integration knowledge of the more advanced CMOS flows. You will work on the interface between the FAB Engineering community and the imec R&D and Integration organizations. The focus is to maintain the optimized Fab processing modules and improve Fab performance by using these standardized platforms and process modules.
Your main responsibilities are:
1. You work closely with the imec Integration Departments to make sure that the selected development flows are production-worthy and reusable,. so they can be used by all Fab customers ensuring quality and speed with minimum inline measurements and inspections.
2. You maintain the optimized, standardized flows and modules and make sure that any deviation or process drift is flagged and fixed timely together with the stakeholders both inside and outside the Fab.
3. You steer the module reuse work from FAB perspective. This means that the use of these modules should improve Fab performance.
4. You mediate between the R&D community and the Fab Process Engineering teams to remove technical obstacles or define action steps that are required to allow projects to proceed.
5. You manage projects that improve our execution speed and increase the value we can provide to our internal and external customers.

Who you are
6. You have a Master’s degree in Engineering (. in Electronics, Materials science or Chemistry) or Exact Sciences, or equal by experience.
7. You have experience with advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes and integration schemes.
8. You are an experienced engineer, able to lead projects with a structural mindset and can-do attitude.
9. You have strong (technical) communication skills. You are an active listener, able to detect the needs of your internal stakeholders.
10. You have a pro-active approach and initiate actions when needed. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dive right into the action.
11. You can work autonomously, take initiative and are capable to plan and organize your own work.
12. You speak English fluently.
