An exciting opportunity for an S3 Cloudian Storage Specialist to join a skilled team of Infrastructure Specialists, working on projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the design related to Cloudian S3 compatible object Storage systems. You will work closely with cloud architects, Dev and CoE to ensure secure, scalable, and high performance Storage solutions are in place to support our business needs. Required skills & experience 10 years of experience in Storage engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a similar role with a focus on S3 and object Storage systems. Hyperbalance: Experience with Hyperbalance for efficient load distribution across nodes in object Storage environments. Hyperiq: Expertise in using Hyperiq for monitoring, analytics, and improving overall system reliability through AI driven insights. Cloud Platforms: Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly using S3 APIs or similar object Storage services. Storage Protocols & Tools: Knowledge of object Storage protocols and tools (e.g., AWS S3, NFS, CIFS, and REST APIs). Disaster Recovery: Proficiency in designing and implementing backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies using S3 compatible Storage. Automation: Familiarity with automation tools like TerraForm, Ansible, or PowerShell for Storage management and infrastructure as code (IaC). Security & Compliance: Understanding of encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms to ensure secure Storage environments. Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for performance management, capacity planning, and uptime (e.g., Hyperiq, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios). Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem solving skills with a deep understanding of object Storage operations, network connectivity, and performance tuning. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders. Requirements EU citizenship Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, proficiency in any other European language is a plus
