Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced C&S Supervisor to manage civil and structural activities on-site for our latest project. This role is crucial to ensuring that all work adheres to high standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout the construction process. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach to construction supervision and a strong foundation in both civil and structural engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise civil and structural construction activities to ensure alignment with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
* Oversee daily operations, coordinating with site supervisors, contractors, and trades to meet project timelines and milestones.
* Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.
* Enforce and implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and practices across the site.
* Collaborate closely with the C&S Lead to address on-site challenges and report on project progress, risks, and incidents.
* Prepare detailed daily site reports (e.g., diary sheets), documenting any changes or deviations from plans, and communicating issues to the project management team.
* Work alongside the QA/QC team to ensure materials and workmanship meet the project’s specifications.
* Utilize BIM 360 and associated software to track and manage project progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* 5-10 years of experience in civil and structural construction supervision, preferably on large-scale projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and site management best practices.
* Familiarity with HSE standards and experience applying them in a construction environment.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
