Job Title: Chief Commercial Officer

We are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer, Hillewaere Insurance (CCO) with extensive expertise in insurance. As CCO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our commercial strategy for Hillewaere Insurance in a decentralized organization. You will lead regional sales teams, optimize customer relationships, and maximize revenue and profitability. In close collaboration with the marketing director, you will work towards achieving commercial goals and ensuring a consistent brand and market strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue and market share growth
* Lead and motivate regional sales teams to achieve sales targets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
* Ensure compliance with commercial contacts and communication in collaboration with the Compliance Officer
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and threats
* Coordinate between regional entities to ensure consistent commercial strategies and share best practices
* Manage commercial budgets and performance
* Evaluate and launch new market opportunities
* Report and communicate commercial results and strategies to the CEO
* Implement technological innovation to drive competitive advantage in the market in collaboration with the Director Technology & Innovation
Requirements:
* University degree or equivalent experience
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably in a decentralized and regulated sector with consultative sales and complex products
* Proven leadership skills to drive and motivate decentralized teams
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills in Dutch and French
* Results-driven with experience in achieving commercial goals and maximizing profitability
* Customer-focused with deep understanding of customer needs and ability to build long-term relationships
* Analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
* Regulated sector experience is a plus, but not essential
