Department: EMEA Development Centre (EDC)
The EDC develops and tests air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and ventilation products, including controls and IoT solutions, produced in various factories across and outside Europe.
Your Role:
As a product validation engineer within our EMEA Development Centre, you will focus on the development and testing of heat pumps, refrigeration systems, and commercial air conditioning products, emphasizing the quality of new products.
Your core tasks will include:
1. Analyzing unit requirements, functionalities, and potential failure modes with the product department to determine necessary tests and evaluation criteria.
2. Determining the testing schedule autonomously while considering global planning within and outside EDC.
3. Executing validation tests (structure, reliability, performance, sound, and safety) and analyzing test results to confirm criteria are met.
4. Validating and verifying results of FEM simulations.
5. Discussing test results with the product development team and actively participating in countermeasure definitions.
6. Gathering data, visualizing, and formalizing the test report.
7. Discussing interim results with management, diagnosing issues, and implementing action plans to avoid bottlenecks.
8. Reporting and confirming development quality status to senior management in design review meetings.
Your Profile:
1. You have a master's degree in engineering, preferably in thermodynamics or energy systems.
2. You possess a hands-on mentality and an analytical, quality-driven mindset with a high sense of responsibility.
3. You have a strong technical interest.
4. You understand analysis tools and methods.
5. You are a team player driven to find solutions to challenging technical issues.
6. You have a strong interest in the HVACR business and aim to contribute to the goals of the Green Deal.
7. You enjoy active participation in projects and possess the self-discipline to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Knowledge of spoken and written English is essential for this position.
