What will you do as a Customer Quality Engineer?
As a pivotal link between PSS and our customers, you will ensure our innovative products meet and exceed quality standards. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
Secure Customer Satisfaction
• Foster strong customer relationships.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement countermeasures using 8D and other problem-solving tools.
• Lead customer audits and spearhead improvement initiatives.
• Analyze trends in customer feedback and coordinate proactive quality programs.
• Ensure quality in the change management process.
• Stay on top of customer requirements and exceed their expectations.
Ensure Product & Process Launch Readiness
• Act as the quality expert for customer interactions.
• Play a key role in design teams, ensuring quality in both product and process validation.
• Conduct process audits (VDA 6.3), APQP, FMEA, PPAP/PPA, MSA, SPC, and PDCA to ensure top-notch product launches.
Drive Continuous Product & Process Improvement
• Lead quality improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Execute product and process audits (VDA 6.5, VDA 6.3) to maintain excellence.
• Reduce the Cost of Non-Quality through requalification programs and other strategies.
Champion Quality Leadership
• Promote a culture of quality within project teams and production centers.
• Coordinate and lead quality improvement programs across global teams.
• Share your knowledge and coach others to elevate quality standards.
What will you bring to PSS?
• A relevant degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Electromechanics.
• Experience with statistical and quality tools, particularly in quality assurance systems (IATF 16949, VDA).
• Strong auditing skills (product & process audits, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5).
• Expertise in automotive industry quality tools (8D, PDCA, FMEA, Fishbone).
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.
• An analytical, well-organized, and client-focused mindset.
• Proven leadership in quality improvement.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
