To accommodate our growth, Nipro Medical EMEAis looking for a Logistics Manager who is strategic, resourceful, and tech-savvy to join us in our Logistics team, based in our Mechelen office in Belgium.
About the role
You will be working in a team that is responsible for the effective management of the logistics department. Under the guidance of the Operations Director, you will lead the department, develop and implement logistics strategies that align with both the operations and company-wide strategies. You will manage the total logistics spend as per budget on HQ level and for local entities, continuously capturing, monitoring, and optimizing logistics costs, processes, and tools for all Nipro entities in the EMEA region.
What you’ll do
* Collaborate with the Operations Director in setting and driving logistics strategy.
* Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with overall business goals.
* Organize quarterly QBR (quarterly business review) with main partners and negotiate contracts.
* Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
* Define and manage yearly logistics budget to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
* Set the roadmap for technology to support data analytics and enhance visibility.
* Manage one team member, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
