About the role: We are seeking a talented Digital Marketing Executive to join our Global Marketing team from our Barcelona office. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in engaging our existing audience and attracting new customers to Hays. You’ll have the chance to flex your creativity across multiple digital channels including websites, social media and email marketing, in a supportive environment where there’s plenty of room to grow.
Your new role
In this exciting new role, you will:
* Develop and manage content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media and email.
* Craft compelling copy for email campaigns, landing pages, social media posts, assets, and other marketing materials.
* Oversee social media accounts by creating, scheduling, and posting content, as well as engaging with followers. You will also report on the performance of social media accounts and campaigns.
* Drive lead generation on social media organically and through paid campaigns.
* Conduct market research to identify trends and support our client-facing employees.
* Work closely with other departments such as content, CRM, design, and sales to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
What you’ll need to succeed:
* To be a native-level English speaker with 3+ years working in digital marketing.
* Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content in English for various digital platforms. Proven experience in writing for both B2B and B2C audiences is highly valued.
* Social media management: Proficiency in managing and growing social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling and engagement.
* Performance marketing: Experience with paid LinkedIn and YouTube campaigns is highly valued. If no prior experience, a strong aptitude for learning and understanding basic principles is required.
* SEO: Experience in writing for search and a solid understanding of best SEO practices, including keyword research.
* Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
* Communication skills: As well as being a native-level English speaker, you’ll need excellent written and spoken communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
* Technical proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, social media management tools, and content management systems (CMS) would be a bonus.
* Creativity: This role requires a highly creative individual, with the ability to come up with innovative marketing ideas and solutions.
