In our Deepsea department, you’ll find a dynamic group of individuals committed to exceeding customer satisfaction. Join us in this exciting role, where you’ll collaborate with among others service (sales) engineers, service coordinators, planners, and business development managers, all working together to deliver exceptional service.
These are your tasks and responsibilities.
As a Service Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our Deepsea Department, dedicated to maintaining the flawless operation of maritime communication and navigation systems. Your responsibilities will encompass executing service tasks aboard vessels, meticulously maintaining equipment, and unwaveringly upholding our standards of excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Your scope of your work is local, and your base will be situated in Wommelgem (Belgium).
Responsibilities:
1. Execute service jobs efficiently as directed by the service coordinator/scheduler.
2. Prepare comprehensive service reports according to Radio Holland standards.
3. Update the service coordinator on VSO status after job completion.
4. Ensure accurate documentation of services provided and materials used, and correct use of FSA before leaving the vessel.
5. Adhere strictly to safety principles, policies, regulations, and standards.
6. Stay up-to-date with technical bulletins, service/installation manuals, and technical information.
Requirements

7. Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. Ability to work both independently and within a team.
10. Flexibility to travel and work in maritime environments.

11. Bs in engineering (electronics & communication).
12. At least 2 years of experience in marine field.
