Position Overview: As a welding engineer, you will fulfill an expert role within the organization and report to the engineering director. You will manage all welding repairs, work on strategic parts, and contribute significantly to the quality of the welding work. You will also engage in fundamental welding research and optimizations in working methods and equipment.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be:
* Development of welding procedures.
* Technical support for welders and stakeholders.
* Learning to operate and control our welding robot.
* Material analysis and selection using advanced technologies.
* Document management for welding procedures and reports.
* Quality assurance in the workshop.
* Project Management for material and weld-related engineering projects.
Your Education Should Be:
* International Welding Engineer (IWE) / Lasingenieur.
* 1-5 years of professional experience in welding or related fields.
* Strong theoretical knowledge with eagerness to learn.
* Experience with robot welding and material analysis systems is a plus.
* Fluency in Dutch and English; other languages are a plus.
* Proficiency in common software systems (Outlook, Word, Excel).
