Position
Space Applications Services is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mechatronics Laboratory Technician to support the activities of the Laboratory Facilities.
As part of our Laboratory Team, you will contribute to the manufacturing, implementation and testing of advanced mechatronic systems, participating to the success, quality and safety of the strategic company products.

Tasks and Responsibilities
* Support the Engineering Teams in the mechanical and electrical assembly, integration and testing of the company prototypes and products
* Manufacture:
o Mechanical parts on workshop machine tools (metals and plastics materials)
o 3D printed parts
* Contribute to assembly and testing of electronics PCB and harnessing
* Maintenance of the laboratory equipment including tracking, calibration and repair
* Procurement of technical components including follow-up of suppliers
* Monitor:
o The Laboratory Facilities, in terms of process flow and tidiness
o The Cleanroom operations support and tidiness
* Manage:
o Laboratory stocks and consumables (raw materials, fasteners, electronic components)
o Laboratory deliveries and shipment.
Skills and Experience
* Electronic/Mechanical Bachelor degree (A1), Technical College degree (A2) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in engineering laboratory
* Hands-on experience with integration of complex assemblies and the use of machine tools
* Hands-on experience in electronics soldering, assembly and rework
* Understanding of materials, standardised components, tolerances, supply chains and COTS procurement.
* Detail-oriented and technical mind-set.

* Previous experience in aerospace industry and/or in medical industry
* Proficiency with CAD design software (e.g. Solidworks)
* Proficiency with ECAD/MCAD tools (e.g. Altium) and proven records of PCB schematics and layouts.
