We are searching for an IT Business Partner to facilitate and drive the IT requirement & demand process, including governance and guidance, and plan and execute business initiatives using Information Technology. The IT Business Partner acts as the liaison interface between Sweco IT and the Sweco Business Areas. In this position, you will be part of Sweco IT and report to the Head of IT Business Partners in Stockholm, Sweden. You will be located in Belgium and be employed by Sweco Belgium. With your line manager in Sweden, you will be expected to work and thrive with a remote manager. You must, therefore, also expect to travel between Belgium and Sweden on a frequent basis.
What we are looking for:
For this role, you will manage needs & demands for IT capabilities and secure relevant and high-quality IT services fitting the business’ requirements. You are expected to own and develop the partnership between Sweco IT and the business in Sweco Belgium and act as the primary link between them. Moreover, you will facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing around IT capabilities to empower the further development of the Sweco business through the usage of IT. Furthermore, you will collaborate and support Business Area management in developing the portfolio of IT solutions and annual IT budgets.
Key responsibilities:
* Liaison between Sweco IT and the business in Belgium to enable smooth/direct communication and fast execution of IT projects and potentially drive them. Be part of Sweco Belgium’s Digital Council, supporting the implementation and execution of projects.
* Advise and support the business on needs for IT capabilities to contribute to value creation and collaborate with the IT Support function in the delivery of IT services to the business.
* Project Management of IT projects, both global and Business Area specific projects.
* Stakeholder management communication with/to the organization on relevant IT topics, assist in IT-related M&A activities, both during the Due Diligence and integration stage and represent IT in Business Area Crisis Management team.
* Collect and mature demands and requirements from the business in Belgium with the support of Sweco IT and monitor the effectiveness of IT solutions and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
* Work closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure technology solutions are developed and implemented in line with architectural principles and standards and with Service Owners teams in Sweco IT to ensure that IT solutions meet business needs.
* Support business stakeholders to identify, define, and document business needs for new IT services and solutions.
You will play a key role in guiding the business on the IT governance model for IT services to ensure that the business aligns with Sweco’s IT standards. Moreover, you will ensure that the governance and procurement of IT services adhere to Sweco’s delegation of Authority and procurement procedures. You will be working with Sweco’s IT controller team on annual budgets, communication of costs, and scope of services of the Sweco Business Area and management.
About you:
We expect you to have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, computer science, or a related field and more than 3-5 years of experience in business relationship management, key account management, or service delivery management. You have more than three years of experience in IT management, including requests and demands for IT services, project management, and IT coordination. You are an individual with exceptional communication skills as well as excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Lastly, you have a hands-on and doer mentality, focused on execution.
