Customs Assistant

About the role
As a Customs Assistant, you will join our support desk and provide support to our customs department. You will assist our customs staff with administrative tasks and preparing reports.
Tasks:
1. Verification of documents (authorizations, entries in national register number, ...);
2. Preparation of reports in Excel (information from the internal customs system);
3. Answering various questions from the client and internal departments regarding customs formalities
4. Handling of customs documents
5. Follow-up of non-cleared transit and export documents

Are you the perfect match?
6. You have a first administrative experience and an interest in customs formalities (preferably already a first knowledge of customs)
7. Plus if you have experience with compliance
8. You are structured, organized and accurate
9. You have a strong knowledge of Dutch and English
10. You are a team player and enjoy working in an international environment
