Position Overview:
An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Sales Engineer to manage sales activities across European and American markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions in the photonics sector.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
3. Identify and establish relationships with new clients while maintaining and strengthening ties with existing customers through regular visits, ensuring sales targets and timely payments are met.
4. Gather and organize client information, maintain databases, and provide comprehensive reports in line with company policies.
5. Manage communication, negotiations, contract execution, and pre- and post-sales support for key accounts.
6. Address client inquiries and manage tasks assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master’s degree (or higher) in electronic engineering, physics, or a related field, with a focus on optics or photonics.
2. 1-2 years of experience in areas such as factory automation, PLC, fiber optics, passive products, silicon photonics, or integrated photonics.
3. Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
4. Knowledge of European markets, with existing customer networks and familiarity with supplier operations in the region.
5. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving roles and company requirements.
6. Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is advantageous.
