Centric is seeking an experienced Active Directory Expert to join our European Active Directory Domain Administrator Support Team, based in Ghent. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our EMEA-wide Active Directory domain and services in all its facets.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 2 years of experience with managing large-scale Active Directory environments and related services. They will also possess hands-on experience with AD Domain migrations and Domain Controller installations, configurations, and upgrades.
A solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture, Information Architecture, and Infrastructure/Solutions Architecture is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and collaborative skills. They must be able to communicate complex network-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Main Responsibilities
* Providing timely and efficient support for assigned operations
* Troubleshooting AD/LDAP authentication and authorization issues
* Assisting in the management and support of DNS service and name resolution issues and requests
* Facilitating an advisory role on application SSOs using AD Federated Services
* Supporting L1 and L2 teams with AD-related issues and inquiries
* Monitoring and auditing the complete AD environment
* Implementing AD security measures
* Maintaining the latest version of Windows on Domain Controllers
* Integrating AD management tools, services, and applications
* Analyzing the current AD environment to identify technical and operational challenges and proposing solutions for improvement
Requirements
* Minimum of 8 years of IT and business/industry work experience
* At least 2 years of experience with managing large-scale Active Directory environments and related services
