Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing key insights into the company’s financial health.
The ideal candidate should be able to handle financial data, perform reconciliations, and manage budgets effectively while adhering to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
2. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger to ensure accuracy.
3. Assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring that expenses align with projections.
4. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws. Prepare and file tax returns as required.
5. Provide financial analysis and forecasting to help guide business decisions.
