In the role of the Electrical Design Engineer youwill have the following tasks andresponsibilities:
* You will worktogether with the other draftsmen (electrical and technical),programmers and project engineer within the engineeringteam.
* You are also in close contact with thepurchasing department, work preparation, workshop andtechnicians.
* You follow up projects from theelectrical perspective from the drawing board to the finished endproduct.
* You will be responsible for theelectrical design of the projects.
* Youparticipate actively in design reviews and projectassignments.
* You maintain the knowledgenecessary for optimisations andinnovations.
* You interpret P&IDs and thinkfunctionally about the operation of the machine and, inconsultation with the head of the department, keep track of thedesign decisions in the risk analysis and the construction file ofthe machine.
* You work in a highly structuredway and have an eye for planning, standardisation andcost-saving.
* You draw up the I/O lists andcheck the electrical diagrams, you follow up the boardconstruction, the as-built creation of the electrical diagrams andensure the preparation of the electrical assembly of theinstallations at the customer's site (on-site wiring, electricalconnections, industrial network, signal exchanges forautomation)
* You process the electrical bill ofmaterials in the in-house ERP system.
* Youprepare the construction file, operational and maintenance manualsin the project language. (Nl, E, F)
* You followup the construction of the installations in the workshop andfeedback "lessons learned" to thedepartment.
* You report to the EngineeringManager.
Functie-eisen
* Master's diploma or equivalent byexperience
* You have great practical insight anda passion for engineering
* You have extensiveknowledge of electrical constructions andelectromechanics
* You have notions of processengineering, electricity and PLCprogramming
* You can work with 2D and 3D drawingpackages
* You can work with ERP systems anddocument management systems
* You work towardsresults
* You are creative(inventive)
* You can work accurately and in astructured way

* Thinking level bachelor/master, with atechnical background (through experience oreducation)
