Within Proximus NXT, the position is located within the Cloud Practice. Our cloud practice is designed to support our customers in their digital transformation journey by offering a comprehensive range of consulting, migration, and managed services. We provide end-to-end solutions, from private and public cloud to hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The Technical Product Management team specializes in public and sovereign cloud services. The team aims to deliver high-quality services for Azure, AWS, and Google to support our customers with their multicloud ambitions. Therefore, the Public and Sovereign Cloud team focuses on crafting innovative offerings on Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS. We aim to grow in market recognition by securing new references and skills recognition (e.g., Azure Expert Managed Services Provider certification in 2024).
Proximus NXT is also pioneering in sovereign clouds. We aim to maintain this leadership position by continuing our innovation pace on Confidential Compute and Microsoft’s Cloud for Sovereignty Framework.
In this context, we are looking for a Technical Product Manager to support our portfolio and business extension on Azure.
Task & Responsibilities
* Define and describe the service portfolio and roadmap for Azure.
* Manage internal stakeholders: Procurement, engineering, legal, marketing, operations, customer support, sales, presales.
* Understand customer needs and translate them in terms of servicing (gather requirements, identify pain points and challenges, mapping needs to NXT solutions).
* Lead product demos and technical deep dive sessions.
* Ensure financial and operational follow-up of your solutions (P&L, budget, funnel, KPIs reporting) and ownership of the Operational plan for your solutions and the 3-year plans (strategic vision).
* Support sales with value proposals, sales pitches, demos, and customer visits.
* Support on offers or RFPs when needed (P&L, discount strategy, specific aspects). Listening to customer needs to improve your solution.
* Maintain a close relationship with vendors (Microsoft) and 3rd parties (stay aware of technological evolution, market trends, issues escalation, price negotiation, work on contracts with procurement, define joint sales actions, follow up incentives and back-end rebates).
* Support colleagues on delivering their AWS and Google Cloud roadmaps.
* Participate in building up the Operational Model.
* Inform Microsoft on the progress and collaborate with them to have a winning strategy.
* Claim Microsoft incentives when applicable.
* Collaborate with operational teams to ensure readiness (including with Affiliates teams).
* Understand customers’ technical needs to translate them into a high-level architecture.

Profile

Key Qualities/Skills
* At least 5 years of experience as a product manager and/or presales in the IT sector.
* Recent certifications in the Public Cloud domain are a must. Azure knowledge is mandatory, while knowledge of Google and AWS is considered a plus.
* Financial skills, as you’re in charge of the P&L of the solution (Capex, Opex, Revenues, Profitability).
* Approach customer needs from a business mindset, steering away from technology-based solutioning.
* Ability to adapt to different domains: as a technical product manager, you’ll collaborate with operations, pitch your solution internally (sales) and externally (customers), finance, pricing team.
* End-to-end ownership and readiness to act as a “CEO” for your product.
* Dynamic and energetic; you like working in fast-paced environments.
