Key Account Manager UK
Your Role:
As Key Account Manager, you will manage a prestigious portfolio of key retail accounts in the UK. This role requires a very versatile set of sales skills, as it features elements of both farming and hunting. You’ll be responsible to grow the UK presence of Libeert’s Belgian chocolate products, including Libeert branded seasonal hollows, as well as private label chocolate blocks. In addition to deepening and expanding existing retail customer relationships, you’ll proactively seek out new sales opportunities to further strengthen our UK distribution. You will be the central link between the customer and the team based in Belgium, ensuring smooth collaboration to deliver strong results in line with our strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and strengthen relationships with leading UK retailers.
2. Identify and onboard new clients, driving market expansion.
3. Collaborate with the team in Belgium to deliver the ultimate customer proposition.
4. Grow distribution for the Libeert brand in the UK.
5. Grow partnerships in private brand block chocolate.
6. Deliver solutions that maximise value for all stakeholders.
7. Report to the Global Sales Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Master’s degree or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Key Account manager in UK retail and FMCG.
3. A persuasive, results-driven approach with strong negotiation skills.
4. Proactive, hands-on mindset with relentless ambition, agility, and resilience.
5. English (C1/C2 level).
6. Deep understanding of or affinity with UK culture and retail dynamics.
7. Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
8. Integrity, respect, and open communication as core values.
