Job Description
ARHS Developments is looking for a SAP Functional Analyst SD, possessing high level expertise with integration projects for one of its clients at the EU Institutions.
The client’s IT modernisation project will significantly change the model of its financial reporting. Striving for continuous improvement and ensuring compliancy with the Financial Regulation and Accounting Rules, the client will revise its information systems, as detailed in a business case on the modernisation of the corporate finance system, to come to a new single finance platform based on S/4HANA.
Implementing this platform will help to make the client’s financial IT landscape future-ready, improve its user experience, increase its capacity to process data and strengthen control of available date, raise cost-effectiveness, support reliable, consistent and timely information, and allow for predictive analytics and flexible modifications – whilst driving system robustness and business continuity
Context
2. Work according to the SAP Activate methodology used for the project, including producing or maintain all relevant project documentation within required quality and format.
3. Actively participate to work sessions with the appropriate actors/team members.
4. Consult with and report to Project or Program Managers when/where appropriate
5. Provide support to the client when requested to elaborate on some specific or general subjects
6. Report on the progress of the different deliverables/tasks assigned.
7. Assist in the smooth running of the SAP Finance, Procurement and Billing environments.
Role & responsibilities
8. Analyse and follow-up the implementation of software solutions within the context of large scale, in large, enterprise-level multi-user information systems involving SOA (service-oriented architecture) systems;
9. Functional analysis within the field of finance and budgetary execution; analysing, testing, documenting and supporting information systems, in close co-operation with business owners and representatives, system architects, IT and support staff;
10. Contribute to project management: planning, to definition of work plans and deliverables, organisation of quality control, risk management, change management;
11. Model the business processes, business rules and design the data object models. Keep the data dictionary up to date;
12. Formalise the requirements and assure consolidation in the Business Object Models and Business Process Models, thus guaranteeing the documentation remains up-to-date. Ensure that artefacts and deliverables are conform to defined guidelines and applicable procedures, and are in line with the overall Information System architecture;
13. Liaise with business owners, business management including senior management and experts in budgetary management and accounting;
14. Liaise with the technical design teams to ensure that the information systems implement the best solution for the business owners;
15. Perform functional testing and/or liaise with the test team to help ensuring that business and functional requirements enter into the test stream correctly;
16. Promote model-driven development;
17. Draft summaries, statistics, reports and briefing notes, and contribute to strategic documents;
18. Provide information and training sessions to users, support teams and management.

19. Master’s degree or equivalent by experience
20. Good knowledge of written/spoken English
