Project Manager – Capital Equipment
Our client, a globally recognized leader in food processing solutions, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead capital equipment projects in the food industry.
Reporting to the Project Director, this role involves managing all project phases, ensuring successful execution from initiation to close-out.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage project plans, defining scope, deliverables, and timelines
* Ensure seamless coordination between engineering, production, and client teams
* Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
* Oversee installation and commissioning at customer sites
* Serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring strong relationship management
* Facilitate key project meetings, including kick-off, status updates, site surveys, and close-out
* Manage project budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
* Implement continuous improvement strategies and best practices
Profile
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (minimum), with formal Project Management training
* Minimum of 5 years experience managing capital equipment, industrial, or manufacturing projects
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile preferred)
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Skills & Knowledge
* Expertise in project planning, scheduling, and execution
* Strong budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight skills
* Excellent risk management and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to drive collaboration across internal and external stakeholders
Languages
* Fluent in English
* Proficiency in French or Dutch is an advantage
