Key responsibilities:
The Pricing & tender manager is responsible for :
1. Shaping the tender environment, preparing competitive bid, submitting & executing tender issued by authorities (including product and pricing) in line with GSK internal standards of practice (cfr. Tender SOP).
2. Define rebate & product to be included in tenders as well as potential additional services, follow up invoicing/payment processing in a highly complex area of the business with large financial exposure and regulatory compliance risk.
3. Supporting market access team & commercial to define the commercial policy, price changes follow up from the entire portfolio & analysis of potential price increase in the classic & Established portfolio. This role will coordinate closely with matrix stakeholders to ensure that the trends affecting our portfolio &/or our customer are anticipated.
4. Understand and navigate the higly regulated environment in which GSK is operating when participating in a tender.
5. Being the single point of contact for all taxes related activities within the LOC.
6. Importance of compliance and execution of contract obligations (timeliness and accuracy) as well as accuracy of price & taxes reporting is critical for the business operations.
The pricing & tender manager will support key activities including :
7. Interpret and understand complex contractual language, and properly configure pricing and contract requirements into the contracting system to accurately reflect contract terms.
8. Support Business through contract development for purchasers and government customers (Federal, Regional, hospital, etc.) based on approved contracting strategies.
9. Develop, write & maintain contract if any amendment (on price, discount,…) which includes working closely with Public Affairs & Market Access, Legal, Quality & other relevant stakeholders in the development of contract language and submission of bids.
10. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with governmental officials, customers and senior leaders.
11. Understanding of GSK enterprise-wide organizational relationships, systems, decision making, contracting, compliance guidelines, and commercial practices.
12. Review, approve and monitor rebate and service fee payments based on contract obligations.
13. Act as primary point of contact regarding contracts.
14. Respond to internal requests regarding contractual issues.
15. Ensure accuracy of setup, proper documentation and accurate government pricing attributes.
16. Ensure critical data (customer submitted, third party and internal data) is properly entered and processed in the system.
17. Process rebate payments and reconciliations to ensure contract compliance and accurate and timely rebate payments that follow GSK policies and best practices.
18. Work closely with Market Access team & B2B team for pricing optimization for established brands.
19. Produce monthly price listing.
20. Work closely with B2B team to help shape the annual business planning process.
21. Develop business cases to support the contract review & pricing review including partnership with legal, market access, and finance.
22. Ensure all taxes related activities are performed accurately & in due time (pharma taxes, …).

Basic Qualifications:
23. Bachelor's Degree.
24. 3+ years of contract development or contract strategy experience in the pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
25. Advanced Degree.
26. Purchaser contracting experience desirable.
27. French, Dutch & English fluent communication is a must.
28. Understanding of contracting challenges with ability to develop effective resolutions.
29. Ability to work across other departments effectively and efficiently.
30. Capable of working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
31. Strong business acumen and analytic skills.
32. Motivated to learn different business segments.
33. Well-developed interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication with a track record of building relationships both internal and external to the company.
